How will you be remembered?

In life the things we do, shape our future and people's perceptions of us. I personally want to be remembered, just like the way I remember my mother and my grandfather. Even though these people were not perfect human beings, the great that they did far outweighs the bad, and to that effect no one talks about their weakness.
I also want to make my own memories. There is nothing worse than being remembered as part of another unrelated person's life.
Let's take a History lesson....

The Prodigy Mozart died quite young and broke. His widow remarried. The man she married after the death of Mozart...well I am not sure what his name is. On his tombstone, the following is inscribed.
" HERE LIES MOZART'S WIDOW'S SECOND HUSBAND"

So what happened here, clearly the Man was only know by the fact that he married Mozart's widow and created no legacy for himself.
I think that every Man and Woman should create their own legacy and not be remembered as just someone's wife or someone's husband....That is all I am saying.
