For I am Him

So everyone knows that I am very individualistic, but I wonder sometimes why most people think that we as humans are one entity in all we do. I understand the whole concept of No Man is an Island but I seriously do not agree with everyone trying to have a discussion about events in another person's life.  Am I just so self absorbed that I don’t wish to know who got a new job, who fought with whom, who slept with another man's wife' s boyfriend or who now has a new man?

I think we have loved ones for other reasons apart from loving and holding for richer or for richer-er but to also to share the ups, downs and drama with.
