My Childhood....Part 1

I am going to, for the first time ever, bring people into my childhood. I am not going to mention everything that happened but will at least give people an idea of some of the things that have shaped my life.
I was born to young parents, who were very much in Love, and having a child like me was all they ever could have asked for. I was born in a very small town where my parents were both just starting out their careers.
My Father was an Electrical Engineer working for the Phone Company and my Mother was a Secret Agent. Life was good, then. I was the center of attention. I didn't even know what I wanted but I got whatever it is my parents thought a child like me needed. Then came siblings, and more siblings and everything changed...LOL just kidding I love all my siblings and nothing changed. The family just got bigger.
I remember the first day of Pre-school, and how my little sister cried to follow me to school. She did try to follow me everywhere I went. I was dressed to learn, whatever that means. Anyway for some reason my mother could not say No to my sister, so here I was starting Nursery School with my sister, who might I add, was about 2 years Younger.
During my years in Pre-school I developed an addiction to reading. I joined the local Library after crying and convincing my mother to take me there. I wanted to take all the books home, and this is the day I realized that My Mother could not do everything. She could not make the people in the library pack up the books for me.
The years that followed, I continued to spend most of my time in the library, with my sister, who had no friends at the time because I think she thought she would lose valuable time with me if she had any...Don't tell her I said this, but that girl was stuck to me like white on rice.
I did have friends but....
I got in trouble with my Aunt, every time I did things that regular kids did. Playing Soccer was a crime, playing in the dirt was unacceptable, and if it did happen, I would make sure I shower somewhere. It seemed like My aunt wanted me to be a total Nerd. Funny thing is she actually threatened that she would tell my Dad that I had been playing soccer, a sport that he played quite well.
Instead of playing with all the kids in the neighborhood, when I got tired of reading, I went and played Chess with some older kids. I was also the mathematician of the house.
My siblings and I were very close, ok scratch that...My sister was very close to me. I think when I look back she really was my best friend and all the other friends I had were just acquaintances.
----Stay Tuned for part II
