The thought of it alone...

So there are approximately 51 days left before I make another trip to the Motherland. It has been a while since I last was there, 5 years to be exact. I can tell you that going home has not been a priority for me, since that last time. When I went back in 2006, I went and paid my last respects to the Woman who is responsimble for everything that I am, what I am not and really what I am set out to become.
The pilgrimage has been done a few times, all alone at all times.
This time around, I make it with my especially favorite person in the world, my world.
The purpose of the trip alone , brings shivers to my body as I sit and ponder in disbelief that this is really about to happen. Wow...as the old adage says..
WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?
Yeah Who would have thought....That a geek like you could fall for someone like me :)
