Good Day, Let me share with you an exerpt from a book I once read, albeit paraphrased.
" The boy decided to clean his fish tank for the first time. He filled up the huge garden tub with water and transferred all the little fish from the tank into the tub. He then noticed that despite the magnificence of the tub, the fish did not swim about freely but roamed an area very comparable to in size to the fish tank."
So how does this relate to us? As we grow up in our circle of family and friends we are told or shown how certain things are within reach and others are not. We, by seeing what others before us have done, subconsciously decide if we are going to become Doctors or work in a Fast Food restaurant. All this exemplifies the concept of the tank. Because, as we learn from our parents and elders that we are only allowed to go so far, we train ourselves to stay within the boundaries of the invisible tank.
As I grow older and possibly wiser, I pray that my children and their children will learn to appreciate, that in life there are no boundaries, that what I have accomplished is not the best that they could ever go, and that anything is possible for those that dare to dream!
